Instrumentation & Automation Training and Networking Night

      If you are working in the instrumentation and process automation field or are considering entering this high paying industry, this program will give you some insight into what kind of training classes are available locally from the San Diego Section as well as those from ISA.
      This meeting is open to all ISA members and others who are interested in expanding their skills. There is no cost if you RSVP ; $10 at the door.

About the speakers

      Neil Finch CCST Level 3 (right) of Pathfinder Instruments is a professional instrumentation and controls instructor. Formerly the I&C Supervisor at City of Glendale generating station, Neil has a great deal of experience training all levels of related topics. Joe Hohn (top photo) of Dynalectric is also a professional instructor, whom most of you will recognize as a regular at the annual Control System Engineering License Exam Review Course . They will be leading the discussion about what the local needs are for training and what opportunities exist for instrument technicians and engineers. Besides those interested in taking classes, this program should also be attended by I&C supervisors and other looking for skilled professionals, and to those looking to make a change.

Who should attend

      Primarily directed toward instrument technicians, automation professionals and those looking for a high-paying career in the process industry, the information to be given at this meeting is also of interest to I&C supervisors, I&C trainers, employers and those interested in finding the most advanced instrument techs in the region. Classes will follow a professional training plan and the subject matter will incorporate the specific needs of those individuals who bring up topics at the October 23 meeting. Course curriculum; who should take the classes; requirements for applying for CCST, CAP and CSE PE license.
