Various forms of wireless technologies have been around for over 20 years. The passage of HART 7.0 standard in September 2007 has been a catalyst for the end users and device manufacturers to start adopting and accepting the wireless technologies. With installed base of over 25 million HART devices users have significant comfort level with this protocol. During this presentation, we will review the HART 7.0 standard pertaining to Wireless devices, Success and Limitation of this technology within process industries.
About the Speaker:
Raj Adani started with Emerson Process Management in 1994. In his current role, he provides sales support for Rosemount's pressure, flow, level and temperature product portfolio. Raj has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and is past ISA Executive Board member.
